【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardappliestohigheffciencyparticulateairfiltersandultralowpenetrationairfilters(HEPAandULPA)usedinthefieldofventilationandairconditioningandfortechnicalprocesses,e.g.forcleanroomtechnologyorapplicationsinthenuclearandpharmaceuticalindustry.Itestablishesaprocedureforthedeterminationoftheefficiencyonthebasisofaparticlecountingmethodusingaliquidtestaerosol,andallowsastandardizedclassificationofthesefiltersintermsoftheirefficiency.ThisEuropeanStandarddescribesthemeasuringinstrumentsandaerosolgeneratorsusedinthecourseofthistesting.Withregardtoparticlecountingitspecifiesthestatisticalbasisfortheevaluationofcountswithonlysmallnumbersofcountedevents.
