【摘要】:TestMethodA8212;Thistestmethodisthemostfrequentlyusedinleaktestingcomponents.Testingofcomponentsiscorrelatedtoastandardleak,andtheactualleakrateismeasured.Acceptanceisbasedonthemaximumsystemallowableleakage.Formostproductionneeds,acceptanceisbasedonacceptanceofpartsleakinglessthananestablishedleakagerate,whichwillensuresafeperformanceovertheprojectedlifeofthecomponent.Caremustbeexercisedtoensurethatlargesystemsarecalibratedwiththestandardleaklocatedatarepresentativeplaceonthetestvolume.Asthevolumetendstobelarge(>1m3)andthereareoftenlowconductancepathsinvolved,acheckoftheresponsetimeaswellassystemsensitivityshouldbemade.TestMethodB8212;Thistestmethodisusedfortestingvacuumsystemseitherasastepinthefinaltestofanewsystemorasamaintenancepracticeonequipmentusedformanufacturing,environmentaltest,orconditioningparts.AswithTestMethodA,theresponsetimeandasystemsensitivitycheckmayberequiredforlargevolumes.TestMethodC8212;ThistestmethodistobeusedonlywhenthereisnoconvenientmethodofconnectingtheLDtotheoutletofthehigh-vacuumpump.IfaheliumLDisusedandthehigh-vacuumpumpisanionpumporcryopump,leaktestingisbestaccomplishedduringtheroughingcycle,asthesepumpsleavearelativelyhighpercentageofheliuminthehigh-vacuumchamber.Thiswilllimitthemaximumsensitivitythatcanbeobtained.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverproceduresfortestingthesourcesofgasleakingattherateof4.41014moles/s(1109standard-cm3/sat0C)orgreater.Thesetestmethodsmaybeconductedonanyobjectthatcanbeevacuatedandtotheothersideofwhichheliumorothertracergasmaybeapplied.Theobjectmustbestructurallycapableofbeingevacuatedtopressuresof0.1Pa(approximately103torr).1.2Threetestmethodsaredescribed;1.2.1TestMethodAFortheobjectundertestcapableofbeingevacuated,buthavingnoinherentpumpingcapability.1.2.2TestMethodBFortheobjectundertestwithintegralpumpingcapability.1.2.3TestMethodCFortheobjectundertestasinTestMethodB,inwhichthevacuumpumpsoftheobjectundertestreplacethosenormallyusedintheleakdetector(LD).1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
